1981 - Outer Banks, NC

Avon NC was the 4th trip and the closest Rep ever got to a real beach vacation. Of course, the kids were yet to come, and that changed everything!

There was plenty of time for recreation this year, mainly due to the fact there wasn't any fresh water within a 1/2 hour drive. We passed the time flying kites with the commercial airliners, shooting starlings, and feeding blue crab scraps to the seagulls. Mary spent much of her time on the beach and got a great tan and a good scare (from the mysterious flying broom!).

And as you can see, we didn't waste a whole lot of time taking pictures for the album.
