2014 - Sodus Bay, Lake Ontario

This was the 37th year for the annual fishing trip and 3rd straight at Saylor's cabin on the southeast side of the bay.

Kiel made his debut trip this year with some high expectations.  He took the trophy after losing the lead for about 10 minutes to Lou-boy. In spite of leaving a bit early in the week, his catch held up.

Kiel didn't have to venture far to land this year's trophy winner .... he was very determined and put at least twice as much time in as the rest of the crew.  Way to go Kiel !

Still a bit unsure what Lou-boy was trying to do with that one ... trying to slip some split shot in that guy, no doubt.

Les brought the carrot again this year, and spent some quality time filling up his live well.  J took it out one evening and spent most of the time recovering equipment from the bottom of the bay.   Nothing a good soaking in some 10W30 won't cure.

Yeebie couldn't seem to keep the great-northern-muskie-pike-lounges off his line.  He caught at least 3 like this one ... one of 'em measuring 36 inches (we hear ... never did see a pic of that one ;o)

Also ... since Yeebie doesn't have 3 hands, J helped him out a bit posing for pictures (I think I caught one or two bladeable ones ?)

Yeebie and J took some time to do some bikin' around.  Went to the Bluffs thinking it was a public park. To our surprise, it was private, but there were some very nice folks that didn't mind at all that we wanted to get a good view.  Passed this nice little fruit stand on our way over to check out Dot's cabin ...
